Greetings Brethren and Ladies,
Can you believe it is already August? Time sure does fly by! Well, I have good news for you this time. The Lodge is now back to in-person session! We held our first back to lodge meeting in July and it was great to see everyone again!
We will be having our normal “Dark” Stated meeting on August 9th. No dinner and lodge will start at 6:30pm. We will be having our normal scheduled Stated Meeting on September 13th with food and the works. Please come and enjoy some fellowship and catch up with people you haven’t seen in over a year!
Practices have also started up again and the new officers are working on getting qualified for their next chairs. We also may have a candidate or two in the pipeline for some degrees so stay tuned!
If anyone has any questions or ideas to help the lodge get going again, please feel free to bring them up to one of the officers. We will be working on getting everything going as quickly as possible.
It was great seeing the brothers and ladies at the last meeting, and I look forward to seeing more of you all at the upcoming meetings.

I want to open this month by saying how great it was to see everyone “in-person” at the July stated meeting. If you were unable to attend, we hope to see you in September. Yes, we are open to in-person meetings and will be having dinner prior to the meetings again.
The officers are working hard to shake off the dust and get back into due form regarding our ritual work. With that also comes preparing for qualifications for the next Masonic year. We are hoping to see growth in Santa Maria Lodge this upcoming year and look forward to getting back into the swing of our “out of lodge” get-togethers.

Here we are in August, it’s hard to believe that we are this far through 2021 already. This past month we had our first Stated Meeting together again and enjoyed a wonderful dinner courtesy of Amici Pizza Pasta & Subs in Ramona. As already mentioned above, we will not be having dinner prior to the Stated Meeting this month, but will again have something delicious come September.
It was wonderful to see everyone’s smiling faces again and hope to see even more return to lodge in the coming months. Continue to stay safe and I look forward to getting the lodge back to working order.

August is here and we are now meeting in person. Welcome back to the Lodge! I hope many of you will come back to the Lodge and help support your Brothers, spread some fellowship and just get to experience Masonry again. There is no Stated Meeting Dinner in August and we open Lodge at 6:30. Please join us!
With it now being August, we will pay the Per Capita to the Grand Lodge. Those of you that have not paid your dues for the year can put us in a financial spot. By not paying your dues in a timely manner, you infringe on the Lodge finances and affect your Brothers. If you have not paid your 2021 dues, you are officially overdue. If you are 2 or more years in arrears, you may be suspended for non-payment of dues as per the California Masonic Code, Section 809.370. Suspension for Non Payment of Dues. Neither the Master, I, nor any other Brother in Lodge wishes this to happen! PLEASE get caught up and pay your dues.
iMember 2.0 is in full swing. Please go check it out at member.freemason.org. There are many things you can do there such as changing your address, your personal information, locate lodges, find resources and documents. Maintaining your contact information ensures that you will receive all notices that the Lodge sends out in a timely manner. Please go check it out!
